Ystrad Music was a part of a team of creative professionals that worked closely with pupils from Elfed High School on an exciting project called 'SKILLS WEEK' - where pupils got the opportunity to learn new artistic skills involving Music, Drama, Dance and Arts & Crafts. A whole school week was dedicated towards the project, and a final performance was put together to celebrate the pupils' achievements, and showcased in front of an audience of other local primary schools.
Short instrumentals were used to demonstrate how music can convey certain moods in a war context - here is one of them:
